Everything was perfectly organised and the entire trip went off without a hitch. The tips and suggestions given to us by Alexandra were very beneficial. A well organised and professional organisation with very a helpful agent. Our Scandinavian experience was very enjoyable and we will certainly use Nordic Visitor in the future. Hafdis really understood what we were looking for, and booked our accommodations perfectly.

Booking through Nordic Visitor made our trip so much more enjoyable. It took out all the time and confusion with planning an adventure in another country, and allowed us to enjoy it all so much more. It was recommended to us from a co-worker, and we were so thankful. The cost was so reasonable for how beneficial it was.

And yes it was coming up to a year ago, but the memories are still strong as I am currently making a photo book of our trip. I would like to congratulate you on the very comprehensive information you sent us prior to the tour. We have done many international tours, but have never received such comprehensive pre-tour advice. That combined with the maps made it easier for us to navigate around Iceland, which was harder than I first thought. I would also like to congratulate you on your response to any of our queries prior to leaving.

Any query was handled quickly and efficiently.

Our trip around Iceland was one of the best "adventures" we have ever undertaken and we owe this fantastic experience to Nordic Visitor and specifically our travel agent Hilmar. Iceland proved to be a hidden jewel that we hope to be able to visit again one day!!. We had an amazing time in Kirkenes. Although we couldn't stay in the Snow Hotel due to dripping, we stayed in their lovely cabins. The staff made us feel like family and everything was great.

All in all, it was a very special thing to do, and will stay in our memory forever. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clearly explained and easy to follow. It was the first holiday I had taken my family on abroad so I was nervous about the details. But if you have a 100 batteries and 25 chargers and 50 drills you just cant leave so you buy the crappy recip saw from dewalt.

I know where I work the choice was made to only allow one product line. So they stock and continue to use gutless low run time 18v Nicad Dewalts. I know other contractors that have the same issue and try to align all their products.

Though it may seem unnecessary for some to switch to brushless and to an even further extent switching brands, I am not alone. You can argue that we can just use a corded tool if we need longer run times but I hate hunting down power outlets, I hate hauling around an extension and that includes wrapping it, storing it, unwrapping it at the job site, having the extension becoming a trip hazard for me, other workers, and clients, wrapping it up for transport in the vehicle and it being an extra tool taking up valuable space in my vehicle.

A let down to me is where the pack drains quicker than it can be charged. Those occasions in which you are sitting around waiting for the batteries to finish charging (2 battery packs one depleted and one charging).

Now I could get a 4. Well not necessarily as with longer run time comes a longer charge time canceling out the benefit, I would still be in the same situation. Brushless would provide me longer run time without the need for larger batteries.

Now onto another benefit for brushless tech for me is a more compact, shorter, and lighter tool. Because of its size and weight the dcd985 is my least used cordless drill. Switching to some thing like the Milwaukee fuel hammer drill might not change that but it would help.

Im not trying to push others into switching to brushless or even switch brands. I am just stating reasons why it makes sense for me to switch. I see cordless as the future in power tools. With improvements in battery tech and motor efficiency, one day the cord for many portable power tools will be obsolete.

Chris saysAug 10, 2013 at 6:26 amThe 4.

A cordless can do great things but if your doing regular work with these tools a Corded wins everything But if you need to switch go got it but the majority of the market is going to stick with what works for them Javier saysAug 10, 2013 at 4:01 pmThe 4.

Under heavy use I would still find myself waiting a bit for the batteries to completely charge. I get it loud and clear about the benefits of corded tools like power, unlimited run time, and cheaper.

But Im still going to get a brushless drill. It has pros and cons just like cordless has pros and cons. Ill stick to what works for me.

When I was talking about cordless tools making corded ones obsolete I was talking about portable power tools. One thing that I can say for sure is that brushless motors in those tools made a huge difference.

Literally night and day. I also use a 20v max dewalt as my big drill. I picked up the DCD950 last fall for pretty cheap. The 20v max is no slouch but I could always use more power and runtime. Such tools require little redesign and development, as they can be based off the same motors and gearing used in the new budget impact driver. The new rotary hammer has been confirmed as being listed as brushless in some Dewalt catalogs, but they have yet to comment on that matter.

Dewalt probably wants to keep the brushed motor compact drill kits at lower prices so that users with higher budgets and more demanding runtime needs look more towards the brushless kits with 2. The premium drills are now kitted with 4.

Chris saysAug 10, 2013 at 11:09 amWell all the big drill kits with the 3. Double the run time of non brushless. I will always pay the extra cash for the brushless vs non if given the choice. Bring on the brushless. Milwaukee and Makita (among other brands) have been using brushless technology for years.Andrew and Jennifer, United Kingdom Iceland Full Circle, June 2016 Overall a fantastic holiday, beautiful scenery, wonderful food and very friendly locals.

I have to say, Swedish drivers are way more knowledgeable than US drivers. Everyone we met was extremely pleasant, courteous, and more than willing to help us out and explain any questions me had.

She was the best and I would absolutely recommend Nordic Visitor and use them again because of how great she was.Norman has expressed that he wants to solely cover Odell Beckham Jr and Beckham said he's more prepared for the matchup this year, and plans on maintaining his cool, but we'll have to wait until Sunday to see if that remains true. Talking to the media Wednesday, Cousins referenced the division title game last year against the Eagles as an example of staying level-headed under stress.

He's going to have to keep his word if the Redskins are to earn their first win of the season. In the first two games of the season, the Redskins ran the ball a lot less than expected - they have 29 total rush attempts for 137 yards.

With Cousins struggling to complete passes, will the Skins attempt to run the ball more against the Giants. Jay Gruden mentioned one option might be to give the ball to Robert Kelley, who hasn't had a carry yet this season. Pressure from the defensive line will bey a major key to victory for the Redskins- Against the Spread: The Redskins are 0-2 on the season, and 0-2 against the spread.

The Redskins are 2-10 in their last 12 road games against the Giants, and are 3-8-1 against the spread in those games.

Careful ongoing analysis of our admissions statistics shows that, for equally well-qualified applicants, making an open application or applying directly to a College does not affect your chance of being made an offer of a place. This is because we have rigorous procedures in place to compare all applicants for each subject before selection decisions are finalised.

Colleges would rather admit a strong applicant from the pool than a weaker applicant who applied directly to them. See further information regarding how to choose a College. This is one of the most frequently asked questions about applying to Cambridge. On average across all subjects, we typically receive five applications per place, but naturally there is some variation between courses. The University and Colleges are committed to offering admission to students of the highest academic ability and potential.

Despite application numbers varying considerably each year, our system means that success rates are very similar from College to College. This is because the pool results in many students (938 in the case of the 2017 cycle, about 21 per cent of all offers made) receiving an offer from a College other than the one they applied to, or were allocated to through the open application system.

NB: 'admissions cycle' refers to the UCAS Apply cycle in which applications are considered, eg '2017 cycle' refers to applications made from September 2016 onwards for admission to courses starting in October 2017 or by deferred entry for courses starting in 2018. Each evening we would look it over and get excited about the next day. Thank you for your assistance in exploring Iceland. We hope to return. Larus had a difficult booking as we had people arriving at different times, we needed the 2 car hires to be split 6 ways and a few of us did different options at the end of the car hire.

He worked it out perfectly and well understood our sometimes complicated emails. The inclusions of Private Pick Up, mobile phones, GPS and inclusion of 2 drivers per car was a big seller to us. Booking with an Icelandic based company to do Iceland gave us confidence in having someone to easily contact if problems occurred. What an absolute delight it was to deal with Larus, who well understood all our requirements. I really felt your booklet of Useful information and Iceland Highlights was very helpful. Iceland is a beautiful country, the people are friendly, the geology is unique and the history is very interesting. I traveled with my sister and we were thrilled with your services.

Your planned suggested route and booking of accommodations for us was especially helpful and what we were the most interested in. It left us able to focus on the sites we wanted to see and the things we wanted to experience. Alexandra was very communicative from the first booking inquiry I sent to the last minute addition of a Glacier Hike.

You were also very patient and accommodating when my credit card company declined a charge. We were sad we were unable to meet with Alexandra during our time there, but we just had too much to do. There were no problems and we had a tremendous time.

Thank you for a trip of a lifetime.

I have already recommended you to a former colleague interested in a trip to Iceland and I am sure he won't be the last. I hope to get to use you again some day. We started with the Full Circle tour and customized it.

I've never used a tour company before--I do all the trip planning in our family, and even though we were using Nordic Visitor, I did a lot of research and had some specific requests. Larus was fantastic, answering my questions and making good suggestions about routes and places to stay.
